Ray Lund, the founder of Briston Advisors, serves as an advisor and fractional CEO for small to medium-sized enterprises. With a robust background spanning 17 years in manufacturing and over two decades in banking, Ray offers expert guidance across a diverse range of business areas. His consultancy focuses on strategic planning, financial management, sales and marketing strategies, operational efficiency, mergers and acquisitions, risk assessment, and various other critical aspects of business development

Ray served as the President and CEO of Thermex-Thermatron from 2006 to 2023. Based in Louisville, Thermex-Thermatron is a leading manufacturer of industrial microwave and radio frequency equipment. During his tenure, Ray also held a position on the company's board of directors. Concurrently, he was a partner at Dyad Partners, a private equity firm specializing in investments in small to mid-sized manufacturing companies.

Before joining Dyad Partners in 2005, Ray Lund held the position of Executive Vice President at Riggs Bank N.A. in Washington, D.C., where he dedicated 16 years to various roles in both the Washington and London offices. Additionally, Ray served on the boards of several bank subsidiaries during his tenure.

Ray served on the Board of Directors for the Bluegrass Economic Advancement Movement (BEAM) and has volunteered at Southeast Christian Church.

Ray earned his B.A. in Finance, focusing on financial institutions, from Texas Tech University.
